Looking for DT 990 Alternatives

Hi, I currently have the DT 990 headphones, but I'm looking for an upgrade. The sound is not very good, although it's okay with an EQ. The comfort level is really good, so does anyone have advice for a headset under €200 that has similar comfort but better sound quality?

Maybe the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x? But I am unsure if it is the best option.

I can't recommend the M50x personally. It sounds unremarkable.

Sorry for the late response, but I tried the HD560S from a friend and the comfort was really bad for me. I think it might be because of my ear shape or something. The FiiO FT1 Pro is too expensive in my country, costing over 200€, and the ATH-R50x is not available sadly. However, I will try the HE400SE. Thanks for your help!
