DAP that turns on/off with Car

I believe I once saw a DAP that could turn on and off automatically in a car by sensing power.

Am I misremembering, or does anyone know what I'm talking about?

The Xduoo X3II does it, maybe others from the same brand do it too.

Does your car have USB ports? If so, don't those turn off automatically on turning off the car? At least mine does, and works well with the dash cam connected.

Except DAPs have a battery built in, so they'll switch to battery power and remain on until the battery dies, unless the software causes it to auto-shutdown on loss of USB power.
