Can i use this power source with microrendu?

The power supply that i purchased with the microrendu always made the unit hotter then normal. Just wanted to try and see if i can use the ifi with this microrendu.

You use a power supply that's appropriate for the MicroRendu, which the MicroRendu clearly points out as being between 6 and 9V DC:

@staticV3 was showing you that your microrendu needs 6 to 9V but the PSU you are suggesting supplies only 5V. It wont' work - at least not properly.

The power supply that came with it is 7 volt. If you can find a 6 volt rated at 1 amp, it might reduce its power consumption a bit. But I would not keep my hopes high and live with it as is.
