Buying Used Speakers Kef Q750

Found a pair of Kef 750's on sale, $199 each. They were a floor model at best buy, and have signs of cosmetic use. Drivers, cones and all that look fine and functional. Will try and see if I can ask for lower because of the cosmetic damage. Doubt it though as they usually $800+ speakers.

Anyone have reviews of them, the Q750?

Also, would it be that difficult to fix up the outside. I'm assuming it's most likely MDF, even if wood, just sand it down and repaint/ apply new veneer.

at that price just grab em... that is , unless you need the money for something else.. even if you don't like them you can recoup the investment via re -sale...edit: as far as cosmetic fixes.. a sharpie does wonders on small stuff , bigger stuff may be more of an issue ...
