Bowers and Wilkins MM1 speakers...

I also have these and like them a lot - if not placed against a wall.
They look great, have excellent bass for the size, but are bass-heavy, without any option to reduce the bass.
I demoed them in an amateur hifi show (alongside Genelec 6010a and ADM DM10) and people were seriously impressed by how low they can go at decent loudness.

the top plate does get very warm if you play them at even moderate levels, but they survived several hours of playing at very high levels during the show.

I had 2 pair of them , and now i have Kept 1 of them , they DO WORK PERFECTLY in Window 10 and Windows 11 usb input is recognized 100% .
Both of them did NOT had any Hiss problem . ( i have tested on USB 2 and Usb 3 they work without hiss at all perfectly clear )
Only One of the Plates gets warm and thats because it works like a passive cooler for the internals.
The Sound quality for the Size is Just Amazing and even at this day 2024 there are no other PC speakers than sound so good at this size ( in my opinion)
The USB onboard dac is NOT neutral for a reason ( neutral doesnt always means better some people have different taste ) the sound is warm with a lot of bass that if they pushed a lot they distort and thats normal for the size .
The Analogue connection is more neutral with much lower bass if anyone needs it ( personally i prefer the analogue ) .
Other than that if anyone wants can use EQ .
To me these are made for personal use to stand in front of them , and listen at low loudness they image great they sound warm and relaxing ( they are not made for critical listening or monitor use , they made for enjoying music ) .
