If I got the measurements right, spread should be around 45 degrees horizontal quite even. The vertical is pretty much the same angling down and with the upper 45 degrees, there should be a slight bump around 1000 hz.

I just got an email from Hyatt telling me if I ride Peloton in their hotels I get more points. I don't need to care or participate (heck I deleted the email).
I think we still need to wait measurements from more established reviewers. I somehow have a problem aligning with how Jay communicates. He is for sure enthusiastic which is great, but statements like this is 4 times better than 1723 is where I loose him.
He might have done a good job measuring the speakers and hopefully he is right. I did not watch the whole video as too long but did not see compression measurements from a quick skim? Did they discuss SPL/distortion at all?

These seem like a good option for a possible end game speaker. If I didn’t already have speakers I’m completely satisfied with, I would definitely consider these. Though I think I’d try a smaller version and use subs. I don’t like overly heavy speakers. Mine weigh close to that, if you include the separate sub modules.
I would just add that to the extent a simple sub/mains crossover is planned, this would be probably most prudent approach.
But then, there are many other bass management approaches where you would look for further extension and SPL in the mains (and/or surrounds for that matter if fits the budget) and use that to enhance the overall low end response.

Please don't mistake this statement for wanting to go down a rabbit hole of nonsense, as I personally wouldn't purchase them or be incentivized to do so. However, there are plenty of examples where isolation has actually changed a frequency response.
Again, this is mostly just cross promotion, plus they look kind of cool.
Just like car builders love themselves a big ass radiator made from billet in the era of turbocharging (today), these items are a little unnecessary for some, but for the hardcore tinkerer and builder, are a little extra bling.
Is my point.

the speaker no speaker cable connected ? i guess its powered by 9v battery , i guess he and his friend set this up outside take few pictures then pack it up and take it indoors , otherwise where's the video ?
The guy went on with Gene and discussed his review and measurements, why his reviews always seem positive and why he initially didn't do any measurements in his reviews - spoiler: he just wants to have fun listening to music and measuring shit isn't fun.
I actually appreciated this from someone getting their PhD in neuroscience.

While I would not go as far to say that 1528 are untouchable, and in fact they still might prove its worth in some aspect, but IMO there are issues mounting over the whole release and how Arendal handles it:
1. Pre-release marketing campaign that seemed to irritate lots of people - I was not particularly impacted, but have seen that in this and other forums.
2. Release that was not followed by immediate serious and detailed reviews from established and trusted reviewers. What is out there is just not cutting it for serious people to make serious decisions. I'd like to see it sent to Audioscience and Audioholics, as well as Erin and Stereophile. Let's see different perspectives and reviews.
3. For the big towers and center it seems that key question was not answered. Where was the size of drivers and cabinet utilised, as well as the weight? Sure it was not in extension, so was that SPL and/or SPL/distortion? Or was it just waisted so that this really does not gain anything compared to physically smaller designs in this price range?
4. I personally want to see compression tests on big LCR so can compare with what I have. I want to understand what is the amp that is driving the test and that they feel comfortable to use on 1m test to achieve that max SPL. Can these take 115, 118 or 120dB at 1M and at what distortion is a really important measure, and what wattage is required/safe to do so. This will translate into much lower SPL at the MLP of 3 or 4 M, but we need to understand what are the limits at 1M, so we can project to our own setups.
5. The largest horizontal center is a mighty incentive to go Arendal LCR. But Arendal did not bother to even think about tilting solution for the 80kg speaker. Not well thought through if trying to collect EUR 15K. They are "working on it", but obviously not going to be easy as they completely missed the point. I could deal with this myself, but not if 2-4 above are not dealt with.
6. Don't feel like boxing the speakers and sending them back after 60 days if they prove not as worthy as they should, as that is a quite an exercise by itself. If they added in home installation and removal option, yeah I would be all for it.

They were sent to "serious" reviewers and are sitting in customs for weeks on end, as Gene described in the video with Jay. "Serious" measurements will be done with the monitors and bookshelves when Matthew and Gene get their respective examples.
What isn't covered is if anyone was shipped the center channels and slim versions.

With Arendal speakers, all of the speakers in a family measure the same. So there was no need to measure the largest tower, for example, because all it would reveal is the bass extension. And the Center was just a Monitor turned sideways. It's likely a similar story here.
Not sure I would discount the monitors with stated extension to 30-ish Hz and weighing >100lbs! I haven't seen "monitors" that big in a while.

lol, the bass extension is pretty important when dropping 10k for these as opposed to Revel 328s or others in this price range.
The big center is actually tower turned sideways (not monitor) - that has not been done before and detailed test how that was done are necessary to validate that speaker which is the one that could differentiate them from”smaller” competitors.
