Any option for powerful amplifiers?

Hello everyone
I have had a few amplifiers such as Denon, Yamaha, Cambrige and my favorite is the Harman HK990, two toroidal and a lot of clean power, it was the only one that could handle my magnepan, then I went to a completely active 4-way system with speakers made by me. The Morel line with 4-channel Brax amplifiers and DSP that made the Magnepans look like pocket radios in terms of clarity and dynamics. (much more realism)
I recently made my own passive speakers and paired them with the HK990 and everything was great until I decided to try other more modern amplifiers such as the NAD based on purifi, although it sounded very very good I felt that it was lacking transient power vs the HK990
I decided to go for the Macintosh MC611, in sound let's say they are similar but the big difference in power, for example in the song New Beginning by Tracy Chapman or Black Magic Woman by Santana, is very noticeable, I normally listen to between 6 and 60 watts and it is enough but raising the volume for fun to strong levels I saw the indicator at 700 rms per channel without any sign of distortion, this was where the MC611 takes advantage and leaves it behind the HK990 and much more behind the purifi
I would like to recommend to my friends interested in my speakers an amplifier similar in power to the MC611 but that does not cost as much.
Could you give me some options? I would appreciate it

Crown XLS series:

It has built-in DSP which you can use, among other things, to filter out subbass for even cleaner playback.

Built like a tank for PA applications.

Naturally it won't be as silent/hiss-free as modern HiFi Amps.

Thank you very much, have you tried any of their models? How are things like background noise, reliability, and audible distortion clipping?

I have not tried the Crown amps. Some people complain about the (mechanical) fan noise. I'm sure there is enough power before clipping to burn-out your speakers. ;)

How are things like background noise, reliability
They're often used in professional environments and so have to survive regular transport and hard labour - they should be at least as reliable if not more so than any domestic device.

Amir tested XLS 2502 here

SNR at 5 W is 79 dB, which is sub par for hifi gear but may well be inaudible in your application.

That's why I was asking about the noise, although I listen at very loud levels I do it for very short periods, I normally listen at low to normal levels maybe 85-95 db and I can't stand background noises, I'm kind of paranoid with everything paused and listening up close the tweeter

For decent power and very low noise the Purifi 1ET9040BA might suit.

Power Output (1% THD)
2 Ohms – 1500 W rms
4 Ohms – 800 W rms
8 Ohms – 400 W rms

Power Output (0.1% THD)
2 Ohms – 1400 W rms
4 Ohms – 750 W rms
8 Ohms – 375 W rms

Current Output – 40 Amps
THD + N – 0.0008% / -122dB @ 100 Watts, 4 Ohms, 20Hz-20kHz
THD + N – 0.0015% / -116dB @ 5 Watts, 4 Ohms, 20Hz-20kHz
Output Noise – 7uV rms 20Hz to 20kHz
Signal To Noise Ratio – 140dB(A)

That's 55 to 60 volts so take care with the output wiring. I think SpeakOn might be better for that much.

I know a guy who has big newer MAC system. He prefers his Chevin but it does have two loud fans. I setup mine behind a wall.

Since we now have real world torture test I would suggest to make an amp based on two icepower 1200as modules:

More than 600W/ch under any circumstances with music for more than microseconds as the usual power tests.
Amir has also measured the Peachtree one (based on only one stereo module though) and got decent results as well:

But if need the power better get a dual mono version with adequate cooling (a really nice case is this one)
