Since this is ESS based DAC, what is the signal pathway for this mode?

Especially for incoming DSD256/512 (software upsampling from HQPlayer).

Does DSD still go through ESS multibit SDM before conversion to analogue?

I will check with Ess Sabre but they are not fast to reply..

From what I see in the datasheet , FIR filters will be bypassed and it will be feed direct into IIR filter
