I wanted to give a try to them, because I want a good closed back alternative to the few open that I have (my collection is in my signature). DT770 are ok (better than the boring AKG 371.. but they are just ok, i was expecting something better. What I should consider in the 250 price range? Good bass, good isolation and comfortable to wear.

I'd suggest giving the Austrian Hi-X60 or DCA Aeon Closed X a try, but they're a good bit more expensive at 350€ and 400€.

At 230€ you could try the new DT 700 Pro X, but I can't really see it sounding that much better than the original DT 770 Pro (I've only heard the latter personally. It's alright.)
You are probably right If I could stretch the budget that much would be a more significative upgrade. I was back considering Meze 99 neo but reviews are so so.. b few loves them few hates them and Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7. DROP ones are not a good option here in italy

Are you finding them both boring at stock or after PEQ?
I still haven't used any PEQ because I dont know how to do it. I was trying to use APO with presets libraries for the headphones but I don't know where to get these presets and how to use it. So I'm talking about stock listening

Here are some PEQ resources for use with EqualizerAPO.

This is Oratory's for the DT770.

You essentially just create a text file containing the filters then load it into APO. For example:

Code:
Preamp: -4.6 dB
Filter 1: ON LSC Fc 105 Hz Gain 7.9 dB Q 0.70
Filter 2: ON PK Fc 6046 Hz Gain -4.6 dB Q 1.03
Filter 3: ON PK Fc 205 Hz Gain 6.8 dB Q 2.18
Filter 4: ON PK Fc 3593 Hz Gain 5.5 dB Q 3.19
Filter 5: ON PK Fc 49 Hz Gain -11.1 dB Q 0.44
Filter 6: ON HSC Fc 10000 Hz Gain -3.8 dB Q 0.70
Filter 7: ON PK Fc 2346 Hz Gain -1.2 dB Q 3.69
Filter 8: ON PK Fc 940 Hz Gain -1.1 dB Q 4.07
Filter 9: ON PK Fc 3442 Hz Gain 1.2 dB Q 5.98
Filter 10: ON PK Fc 61 Hz Gain -0.4 dB Q 3.84

If I understand you, you are looking for like a fun and exciting tuned closed back. Audio Technica ATH M50x comes to mind.

That's what I'm searching indeed, funny and bassy, but I had so many different opinions and options that I'm more confused than ever.

Maybe you will need to try a few first, before you find something you are happy with, because closed back construction can sound different from person to person.

Maybe not something you'd want to dabble in, but I just installed some mods from a small company in the UK in my DT 770 250's which changed them for the better. The main part is pieces of pre-cut open cell foam that fit behind and around the drivers. According to the dummy head measurements by the people who make it, it flattens the response out, bringing the mids up and the bass down slightly, but also slightly extending it (not as if they don't go pretty deep anyway). I have to say, I've now heard deep bass on certain pieces of music (that I know very well) that I didn't know was there, such as in the chorus's of QOTSA's The Lost Art Of Keeping a Secret. Admittedly I haven't owned the 770's for long so I can't make definitive statements about the changes, but they're delivering the eyeball-rattling bass I was craving (that my faithful 20 year-old HD580's don't). ETA >> the mod kits are cheap as chips and the DT 770 is very easy to open up to install them (several vids on YT to guide you).

I really don't feel to trust any headphones with fix cable that's the other reason with with sharp highs that killed the 770 chances

Just finished my review of the 32ohm DT770.

Probably going to modify and filter it and add a 4-pin mini XLR on it.... and then put it up for sale...
