A Real Cure for Tinnitus

Interesting article..

Yes that's interesting. Of course I heard tinnitus as soon as I clicked on this thread. Mine is likely stress-related and matches around 8 kHz (comparing to a test tone). Hard to match exactly because after listening to a tone the tinnitus recedes.

Tinnitus is like a "quantum symptom": does it exist without one observing it?

I think that, or at least something like those being fired, is what gave me my tinnitus.
Same! Big regrets here. The good news though is I did not lose any hearing says the audiologist.

tinnitus inner ear hissing ( between 7KHz or 9KHz ) has been , somewhat sort of very low level past few no weeks now ? puzzling ?
i can still hear higher frequencies near close on 16KHz and with bit effort if tuning the system maybe just , may just notice 17Khz faintly
not sure if diet or climate temperature has anything do with it ?

eGadz! Tinnitus affects 750Million people worldwide.o_O
..."Laser acupuncture and transmeatal low-power laser stimulation"...
They have to stop calling it "acupuncture" though. Besides the 'puncture' part - which conjures up thoughts of nasty images - that word has probably as many skeptics as there are people with tinnitus.

orange juice is the key , why i drink a lot of it

You must be kidding
no , not joking kidding , serious seriously orange juice
i don't mean guzzle the whole carton down in one go , maybe little small amounts daily

Are we being forced to nominate "tinitusphool" products, in a new thread?

All joking aside [and I apologize for seeming to being insensitive]:
Has there ever been a definitive definition of what that tinnitus signal really looks like from the perspective of an AP detection/representation?
Pure? Sinusoidal? THD products?
Me thinx: This thread may need posting such graphs, if possible.
Don't everyone raise your hands to volunteer to educate the rest of us.

anyone tried this therapy yet?
There is one clinic in my country that offers the treatment. But it is a private clinic, and the treatment costs around 3300$. In Denmark we pay some of the highest taxes in the world, but in return medical treatment is free. So I am a not used to pay for any kind of treatment. If it was a guaranteed cure, I guess it would be worth it, but it could be nice to hear back from someone who has already tried it first.
