Greetings,
Have enjoyed my fast tracking of relearning audiofilliness, courtesy of this forum and others.
My first foray into Room EQ was with MathAudio and Foobar using the very helpful post on here https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...ds/mathaudio-room-eq-users-tips-tricks.30525/
I used this microphone as it was the only one I have https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GVGMW59 and had it mounted vertically in various tweeter height positions around my sitting location.
I attach a photo of my listening position.....BTW my ears are not in my toes.
The effect of applying Room EQ was significant and very revealing.
I appreciate the final end result distils down the listener but I was hoping for some feedback on the curves and where more learned audiophiles would position the cut off. It would be useful to know if the curves reveal whether the microphone I used is suitable.
Thank you in advance for any useful insight you may share.
