I took the time to reposition the X18s and re-measured using the MMM method. The scale of the graph is different, but here they are with no EQ against my target curve. Everything under 300 Hz is room modes. Not bad at all, methinks. No wonder I like these so much.

Anyone want my pair of Excite X18’s [rosewood]? After having to relocate my HT to a smaller 12x14 room, I grabbed a pair of X14a’s, which I find to be a better fit. As long as I clear $800 I’ll be satisfied.
