I am, unfortunately, too lazy to look
Did "we" do Mario Bellini's Yamaha designs?

I have a pair of the cosmetically near-identical HP-2. :)

I don't have one of those! :(

Or Olivetti's typewriters?

semi-random example, source: https://charliefoxtrot.com.au/products/1957-olivetti-lettera-22

My first PC was an AT&T PC6300, which was designed (and made) by Olivetti. Pretty capable machine for its era -- probably should've kept it... but that I got rid of.

I mean, probably, but, if not, why not?
And if so, worth a re-run, I'd opine!
;)

I'm not really a car guy, but there have been some very pretty ones.

Something a little less ostentatious:

I'm not sure I like the direction that car styling has taken in recent years. Many seem to be overly bulky, with a lot of busy lines, trim and light clusters; with the whole thing ending up looking a bit of a dog's breakfast.

Running shoes. The mid-sized SUVs look like running shoes. :)
I blame Honda*. I think most people do.

I think much of the modern designs we are seeing has to do with fuel efficiency requirements and pedestrian collision.
Those Lancias, DeTomasos posted above would've sliced a pedestrian at the knees.

That said I really do not know how does this thing got passed safety. The edges looked sharp and Tesla's history of inconsistent body panels means some of the sharp panels will stick out like a blunt blade. I'm sure there are some science to it.

Yep, I still have mine (Henry Kloss & Tomlinson Holman highly involved on this) & it was tested here, if you want to look it up. Definitely NOT SOTA but certainly good enough for a bedroom system, with a Connoisseur TT, a 1980's CD player & running the pre-out into a pair of NAD 2100's (with a pair of wood veneer Minimus 7's & the smaller of the 2 Radio Shack 12" subs [and I still listen to FM])
My other system involves the APT/Holman Preamps (a pair of them, one tested here), 3 NAD 2200's (one tested here also, look at the through the LAB inputs for a 95 SINAD #), a SL-M3 Technics TT, an oppo UDP-205

Have you seen the NEW for 2025 AC COBRA GT ROADSTER?

Have you had any problems with it? I tried looking on eBay for one, as my dad had one when I was a kid and I always thought it looked cool. He used it just as a preamp. But they apparently have some problems with longevity and often require repair. I never bought one since a fully refurbished unit is too expensive for me to buy just for the hell of it.

Well, now I have:) Nice! It seems that they have picked up quite a few styling cues from the interior of 2005 Ford GT.
Given that they are using a form of the Ford Coyote engine, I don't see why they wouldn't use something else that cues up resemblance to Ford products visuals.
It seems all good but certainly out of my price range.

When I was a kid I thought this was pinnacle of industrial design for a police officer. :p
Hands up if you wanted Officer Murphy to visit your school to talk about gangs and safety.
