I salivated over this preamp as a teenager! Probably “Unobtanium” now.
Putting myself out on a limb here, as I designed and built it. Industrial design, perhaps loosely defined.

Lots of jewelry on that locomotive. I was working industrial for some time wiring new oil drilling rigs and water well drills and we called all that extra nice stuff the jewelry. I imagine the workers that made that locomotive really enjoyed their job and took great pride in the finished result. It is impressive for sure.In mechanical design if form follows function this looks beautiful to me.

It’ll need a face lift...and current crash protection standards compliance might just be a tad difficult to achieve...Consider the Isetta revisited by today's standards, 100% electric, very manoeuvrable in crowded cities with that sole wheel in the back ...
