Can they be made leak-proof and phase accurate?

What does "leak-proof" mean? As to phase accurate, the answer is yes, if that is what you target (unlike with analog, where you can't).

Not as much as analogue.

If you don't have a problem, fuck about until you do.

Or...if you can't hear hear it because you haven't trained your fucking brainears to recognise it you'll never have a problem
...except smeared sound.

Would a mid-woofer low-pass still require a low pass analog filter?

Does. Each band phases and delays. Higher db gain bigger the effect i find

If you are referring to EQ'ing a speaker's frequency response, wouldn't this show in a CSD plot?

Do you mean reconstruction filter? It is an essential part of the DAC process. Of course the woofer itself acts as a low-pass filter.

So time domain distortion is not a factor in +90% of eq's?
Its a fact. Science!
I say you'll subjectively state they don't have this effect on phase/delay even though it's proven they do

Does that mean no then, a digital low-pass crossover filter doesn't need to be complemented by low-pass analogue filter?
