That will scare a buzzard off a shit wagon. Can't believe nobody has mentioned Metaxas and Sins:
Take a look at their R2R. It looks as if it couldn't afford to see a dentist:
I'm afraid that if I got too close to one of them, I'd be swallowed whole, in one gulp.
It just looks the the speaker Scarlett Johansson's space alien character in Under the Skin would have in her apartment to play Mica Levi music while she liquifies Scottish incels.
That goes in my "quotes to use later" list. Thank you! That will scare a buzzard off a shit wagon.
If you put your hand in the horn and live, it means you're a human
What's with all this wannabe Nagra's?I actually let out a "WHAT TH' F'C" when I scrolled to this.
Its not ugly per se but its over designed. To me there's not a lot of 'ugly gear' out there... there is certainly ugly stuff in this thread.
but i see d'Agostino and Gryphon gear and I came to the same conclusion... the designers didnt know when to stop.
And no one in the company told them to "go home" for the day.
eg.
I have no doubts this is a fine piece of machinery and I would love to own it just to revel in its insanity but I would always smile to myself at the absurdity.
I loathe this freak. Tear it apart and throw the remains into an active volcano. The sight alone - you can't make it unseen ...
Is it really any worse than every other loudspeaker management 1U module, though?
I do like bland! Still too fancy for me with their logo though.
But it probably sound better than Digital, right?this one, the Dereneville VPM 2010-1 also fits that category, expecially when you see it's price: 600K
Even if they give me 600K this would not ever be a part of my system... It just hurts at the eyes to look at it.
It's very expensive, so it obviously sounds good. But it probably sound better than Digital, right?
I don't know, i don't even want to know, but my technics turntable sounds good, and so does my digital system. I use both and don't need a slab of ugly artificial stone drenched in snake oil in my system. A technics SL1500 is good enough and cost less than the cable that this need probally. But it probably sound better than Digital, right?
Yeah though they do stretch it with the lettering on top.Is it really any worse than every other loudspeaker management 1U module, though?
I think my RCF unit does that, too. i bet every marketing guy insists on it.Yeah though they do stretch it with the lettering on top.
Nice Roman Holiday segue:If you put your hand in the horn and live, it means you're a human
The only issue I'd have with a(n) harmonic exciter is that it is, by definition, fundamentally unexciting. That's not a clamp, it's a harmonic exciter you balance on top of a record, it's probably also a gift to the replacement cartridge sellers.
