XLR wire question. ghent amp build

Im in middle of a ncore build. harnesses provided by ghent and case as well,. I am looking at the XLR harness and well first off its very short , I mean like nothing to work with at all. second I am not sure what I am looking at.

I have a blue wire, which I am thinking goes to pin 2
I have a "see thru wire I will call grey" which would go to pin 3

and then I have some copper that is part of the casing. but if I look at the harness where it gets close to the connector you can see that the copper isnt attached to anything.

I have Pin #1 grounded to the case already at the XLR backplate.

From the datasheet:

So blue is non inverting, "gray" is inverting and black/bare copper is ground.
So you want blue to pin 2, "gray" to pin 3 and black/bare copper grounded to chassis, ideally not in the same spot you grounded pin 1.
But if not doable, they recommended going to pin 1 for UcD amps...

amp is built and works fine. thanks . I didnt use that harness.
