Would AKM DAC sound different than Khadas Tone Board?

Maybe it is the 8 to 10k peaks of my speakers..... Since it is already measured by two different reviewers and both mentioned peaks, I am going to play with my minidsp HD to see if I can somehow bring those peaks down some....
