If you were using a touchscreen based windows mini pc as an all-round DAP and streamer what would your front end be ?

Roon is one option however we all know how (over) expensive that piece of software is .. So if you had to choose something else what would it be ? Plex-Amp has awesome functionality for locally stored music but it's streaming integration with Tidal/Apple Music/qobuz etc is lacking / non existent

Give me some ideas.

How about JRiver MC?
(I have stopped/abandoned using Roon several years ago for several reasons.)

Yes I concur. JRiver works well, with the bonus I can drive it from an additional laptop, an android phone and also android tablet. It plays well with wiim minis also.

Yeah, JRiver MC on my PC + BubbleUPNP on my tablet. Connect the two via DLNA and JRiver's Media Network feature.

Foobar2000 for local files, and the native Qobuz/Tidal apps for streaming. If you're already getting up to interact with a touch screen, what differerence is there in the end?
