Let it be known no but perhaps yes in the next few days if not enough respirators arrive from China. It is a war against time. I suppose that the Spanish factories will work 24 hours as soon as feasible. Airbus began to activate on Saturday afternoon.

Presumably, they will move patients or bring more equipment to Madrid from other parts with less saturation.

The truth, says Vasilieva, would be in the folds of the percentages disseminated by Rosstat and re-launched by the business newspaper Rbk. From January 2019 to January 2020, the Russian Statistical Institute recorded a 37 percent increase in cases of "community-acquired pneumonia", or CAP, which is almost 2,000 more cases. "The authorities superimpose Pac on coronaviruses to avoid panic," continues Vasilieva. "No one will ever tell us the truth about how many people died and what they died of. Doctors told us that they were forbidden to diagnose post mortem coronavirus on pain of dismissal."

Vasilieva is a famous distributor of fakes in social networks. I would not trust her information more than, World Health Organization.

Catalunya roza los 6.000 casos de coronavirus tras un aumento de más de 1.000 en un día
[Spanish] https://www.diaridetarragona.com/ca...-de-mas-de-1.000-en-un-dia-20200322-0053.html

https://translate.google.es/translate?sl=es&tl=en&u=https://www.diaridetarragona.com/catalunya/Catalunya-roza-los-6.000-casos-de-coronavirus-tras-un-aumento-de-mas-de-1.000-en-un-dia-20200322-0053.html

[ The Health Department reports that 1,221 new SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus positives have been confirmed in Catalonia in recent hours, bringing the total number to 5,925. Of the total accumulated cases so far, a total of 245 people have died with the Covid-19.

Regarding the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in Catalonia, a total of 551 people are serious. ]

4,704 -> 5,925 => 25.9%
54 / 191 = 28.2%

Catalonia Government does not offer the data by province. Presumably, the vast majority of infected and deceased are in Barcelona.

The central government was negligent but that of Catalonia has been more so. Generalitat de Catalunya is the most inept government of all CC.AA, something inconceivable ten years ago.

Does anyone know if they are turning the patients over suspended facing down?
My brother in law recovered from an intubation after a bout with an auto-immune disease that had him in that similar situation.
(I think it’s an old procedure they tried)

That and steroid helped him immensely.

One really big problem is moms and dads fighting at home. Kids crying and fighting too after couple of weeks.
We will see high divorce numbers during summer, followed by baby boom in January!

I just read that most cities in Italy are almost covid-free. Same applies to other countries. Closing schools and jobs should be done by district/town, but all local authorities must have same rules, and act fast. Travelling across borders should be restricted. Very difficult and complex issue...

That happens in Shanghai, couples never been stuck together for so long, they can't stand each other and file for a divorce, they are stuck together as well because there are so many applications Nd the processing is so slow.

Its a known side effect of serious pneumonia. Which is partly why in China, they refer the virus as pneumonia instead of pandemic flu.

Perhaps it should be highlighted to those "young and healthy" that continue to treat the virus threat with their nonchalant , cavalier attitudes.

"It probably will not kill you, but it may impair you permanently for life. "

Maybe she could insert a marker into the virus so those infected glow in the dark...

Her influences are Richard Preston who has written best sellers like, The Hot zone, the Demon in the Freezer, and the Cobra Event. Hmmmmmm.

Wilkins is either a psychiatrist or the late Blues singer. Probably the former, but I wish it were the latter.

El 40% de los ingresados por coronavirus en Bellvitge [big Hospital] tienen menos de 50 años

40% of those admitted for coronavirus in Bellvitge [big Hospital] are under 50
https://translate.google.es/translate?sl=es&tl=en&u=https://www.elperiodico.com/es/sanidad/20200323/el-20-de-los-ingresados-en-la-uci-tienen-entre-20-y-50-anos-7900251

The figure doubles the average for the State [Spain] as a whole, where those under 30 in the ICU represent 5%

Children under 40 in intensive care account for 5% of the total, and the dead do not reach 1%

I am unable to find data on the infected and the dead in the four Catalan provinces (Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona). Much less of the cities.

One more proof that the Generalitat de Catalunya is hiding its terrible management. Also that the Catalan (in) communication media do not investigate. They have survived decades of the public subsidies they receive and have consistently failed to comply with their reporting obligation, now and before. Exceptions are minimal and only have a web presence.

Diari de Tarragona published a map of the infections of the province one day, it has not been updated since then.

There is more information in the Spanish / central government Ministry of Health. The problem is that they generate it with the one that the Autonomous Communities send, which are those who have transferred health management for many years and with much more powers than the German or USA states.

Así evoluciona la curva del coronavirus en cada comunidad autónoma

This is how the coronavirus curve evolves in each autonomous community

[ The Covid-19 curve from the first day that more than 30 cases were registered in each territory

Difference between Madrid, Catalonia, the Basque Country and Andalusia, the territories with the most presence, and the rest ]

[ However, if the number of people affected by its population is weighed, La Rioja is the autonomous community with the highest rate of infection for every 100,000 inhabitants. With 564 cases and a population of 316,000 inhabitants, according to the latest INE data, the rate is 178 infected for every 100,000 inhabitants.

It is followed in second place by the Community of Madrid with a ratio of 133 affected per 100,000 inhabitants and Navarre with a ratio of 101. Catalonia, despite being the second autonomous community with the most affected, has a lower ratio - of 54 affected for every 100,000 people - since it is also one of the most populated autonomous communities. ]

But the Catalan slope...
