Hello, I bought a Technics SA C600 amp. Specs are:
60 W + 60 W (1 kHz, T.H.D. 1,0%, 4Ω y 20 kHz LPF)

4 Ω - 16 Ω

I have listen to Whaferdale Diamond 12.2 and 12.3 and I like how they sound, I am getting one of these two modelo. Which one would work better with this amp? Specs are:

Diamond 12.2:
Recommended amplifier power, 20-120W
Peak SPL96dB
Nominal impedance, 8Ω CompatibleMinimum impedance, 4.0Ω

Diamond 12.3:
Recommended amplifier power, 30-150W
Peak SPL102dB
Nominal impedance, 8Ω CompatibleMinimum impedance, 5Ω

Given that the 12.3 not only has a higher minimum impedance but also is a bit more sensitive at the same time (89 dB vs. 88 dB), I cannot see any downsides of this larger 2.5-way floorstander assuming your space and your bank account can accommodate it. The amplifier would have a slightly easier time with this model, and it can handle higher levels and has better bass extension.

Thanks so much

What about the 12.4 vs the 12.3? Black friday prices where I live is very similar between these two models.

12.4 specs are:
Sensitivity(2.83V @ 1m)89dB
Recommended amplifier power30-200W
Peak SPL102dB
Nominal impedance8Ω Compatible
Minimum impedance
Frequency response(+/-3dB)40Hz ~ 20kHz

It is odd that the specs would be so similar between the two. I guess you'd be seeing some differences in low end handling in a direct comparison. The 12.4 is a fair bit taller, which at least for me would line up better with ear height when sitting, but you may be sitting sufficiently far away for it to not matter much either way. If this is a typical living room setting (listening distance 2.5-3 m), I'd be tempted to go big and buy the 12.4. Make sure you grab a measuring tape and get an impression of how big its dimensions will be in real life.
