The more I learn the less I know. As result I'm back to more fiddling with room EQ and sub integration, cause I'm sure I can do it better. My toolbox consists of MiniDSP Studio, REW, Dirac and MSO. It's a 2ch system with 2 subs and large Magneplanars. I'm less concerned about multiple listening positions than best possible result at the MLP. As usual, the issue becomes "what's the best approach?" I've settled on:
- MSO for the sub integration
- REW to EQ the mains. Maybe also Dirac, though to date I've found REW EQing to sound a little better.
- MiniDSP for XOing, level matching, any final tweaks.ing, etc.
