The picture you posted is very low quality. What are we looking at?
Confirmed, it is the latest RA3/RD3 series.

Products for those desks with built in 19 inch racks, I guess...?
;)

Reminds me of Parasound's Z-*** products (Zamp, Ztuner, Zpre, Zetc. ;) ).

Not that I can find a photo comparing one to a full-width rack mount component
(and, no, I don't have any of them)

Or copy MiniDSP???
The Topping looks like an SHD (except with an amplifier but no DSP):

If you want the amp and the DSP, MiniDSP has that too.

Maybe, although I don't see 19" rack ears on those. Optional?

They ship with little screw-on rack ears.
So if you need rack then you're good. If you don't then you're also good.

Yes they are. Somebody in that office was very pleased by them for the price.

The rack gears are called RA3 and RD3, being respectively a DAC and a power amp, the DAC is pretty much the usual affair, and I should say that a stereo DAC occupying the whopping full width of a rack doesn't entertain me, but the amplifier seems interesting - it's retailing for 1449CNY price tag (using a 250CNY launch discount, "nominal" price would be 1699CNY) for a similar power rating as the now retired PA5 at a less hefty price tag, while also packing an internal PSU at last, and some form of relay volume so one doesn't have to fiddle around with a pot to match gain/volume. The ears are built into the front panel and naturally can't be taken off, there are removable feet. Most of the AP test results on the taobao page are somehow also blurry at this moment, probably a mistake, will update/repost here when they clean that up. EDIT:They fixed it, image below:

This is supposed to be a new sub-brand (similar to what SMSL pulled with Loxjie and Sabaj, I think.) with a two-letter name "TP", they aren't being shipped to dealers, at least that's what I'm told, and I suppose some of the price drop comes from that. Here's the Logo on chassis for the new sub-brand:

i would echo mario here...,. the dac is a bit eh.... what is it doing to justify its existence and width?

the amp I would say the same thing BUT the price is:

1,700 Chinese Yuan equals

240.10 United States Dollar

I mean that's a bargain if we were to learn more about its chipset and the usual stuff?

and i too would question why an ostensibly 80w digital amp is also 19" wide!
