I skipped the IFI can signature from Drop and will just wait for A50s instead.
I already have the Atom but would like to try other headphone amp with balance out this time around.

So far, I have good experience with topping products. My D30 and MX3 has been excellent performers. Hoping for another one with A50s.

Does anyone know if the A50s will still use the on/off switch to change gain? Or will it use the 3 position switch like on L30/A30?

I was never keen on the on/off button being the gain change control.

Hopefully @amirm gets an early copy to test. I'm hoping it's as good or better than the Atom, as my ocd can't stand the fact that my Atom and D50s aren't the same size. Petty I know!

We share an affliction I also want the 4.4mm balanced socket to plug my currently unused Sennheiser balanced cable into.

Well, the original A50 is like 180, I dont see the S being more than 200. And doesnt Topping dare to prove me wrong

Super/special. Comparing to "pro", S is a performance upgrade with same form factor. Pro usually is a big upgrade with more drastic changes.
