No, this has plenty of power. I was using it on the L/R channels in my home theater hooked up to a pair of Revel M106's. I would not be selling them at all except I located an NAD M27 (NC400 based) amp. It just made sense for me to go with a 7 channel unit that I could use in 2 adjoining rooms. If I didn't opt for this, I would have had no reason to sell them as they work great.
