Hi! I'm selling a pair of amazing Revel M126Be's and wanted to give ASR members first dibs on a good price. There are a few scratches, but I felt I got an amazing deal on these, and I wanted to return the favor. This means I'm firm on the $1600/1700 price; they sell new for $4,400. Venmo or PayPal preferred.

These are for local pickup in NYC strongly preferred; I have the original boxes but they are missing part of the packing material, so I'd rather not deal with the hassle of shipping securely. If you are willing to risk additional shipping damage, I'm willing to sell these for $1700 plus shipping via UPS or FedEx for the extra hassle and packing materials. Please note these come in two separate boxes.

Damage report: There are some faint but noticeable scratches on the walnut finish from an earlier owner, but these never bothered me, especially from the listening position. The biggest damage is a bit of peeling at the bottom of one of the speakers, which thankfully is never visible on a stand. I'm selling these assuming the buyer doesn't care about a pristine finish.

The drivers and waveguides are in perfect condition, and they sound amazing. I'm only selling because I can't justify the added expense over another set of speakers I like a lot and way prefer aesthetically (JBL L52).

I would also be willing to sell the units individually, in case someone wants to use one as a center channel, but that'd bring up the individual price to $900+shipping because of the extra hassle.

Photos (I apologize for any stray cat hairs!)

Attached below are some other angles as well as photos of the worst of the damage. Speaker does come with grilles in which case none of the damage is really visible.

What speakers are you switching to?

Very tempting. Might have taken it if I wasnt in love with my Lintons.

I hear you! I found these locally while Erin was Klippeling my new pair of the JBL L52s so I jumped on them when I probably shouldn't have. While Erin didn't like the L52s, they sound great in my space.

The Revels are better, but not enough that I wouldn't rather save the money (I hadn't planned to spend over $1000) and stick to the retro looks of the JBLs(not to mention I love blue speakers). I actually find them quite similar in terms of tonality overall, other than a bit of extra forwardness on the JBL that's easily EQable.

Add to that the fact that I often upmix these days and use EQ, and the differences become vanishingly small. I do feel sad letting them go though.

I hear you about the upmixing. I recently bought 5 cheap polk speakers from marketplace, and definitely prefer the immersion from the 7.1 experience as compared to Lintons by themselves, even though I’m pretty sure the polks are far inferior

I will warn people, I was quoted shipping a single m106 by USPS, cost $75 (22lbs and box is 19" x 16" x 13").

beautiful speakers there................

Good luck selling them
