In my culture, "eh" is a classic Yiddish term which, with its angst removed, became the more meh "meh"!No Sir!
"eh" is a Canuck word which always precedes a question mark and is not a relative of "meh"!

Your factoids left out the more important details:Speaking of The Marlboro Man... David Millar, spent his golden years* not two miles (3.2 km)**
... [1]from where I sit as I type this.
... [2]destroyed in a fire a couple of years ago. We saw the smoke

OMG! Magico doesn't have Nordost wires??? I think I just lost all my respect for the "Magic" of Magico. LOL.Magico crossover. Check out the wire that connects to the drivers. This is what you attach your $50000 speaker cables to. And yet somehow these $50000 cables transcend the cable material difference to.....make a difference. Ok if you say so.

Probably an unrelated word to your uff da [definition, please!]... a SouthAfrican EE once taught me the word poofta [sic?] which cannot be a 'close friend'!uff da
Hopefully a Norwegian on here can tell us what it means.Probably an unrelated word to your uff da [definition, please!]... a SouthAfrican EE once taught me the word poofta [sic?] which cannot be a 'close friend'!

Also the Weiss is made in Switzerland, so factor in 20x labour costs and 3x part costs. That's a bit unfair. The DAC502 does have a lot of functionality and good build, although $8k is far too much, of course. The Matrix Element X would be a fair comparison.
IS??? WAS??? (retired = WAS)EDIT: Do you know who Garrison Keillor is...?

Maybe Kal can talk some sense into them then…Well, that's timely. I happen to be going somewhat back and forth with the Stereophile folks, in the comment sections, on just such a subject:

Toronto Audiofest 2022: Final Words and Observations
The Toronto Audiofest 2022 may not have been the busiest audio show I've attended, but it was still a success. It had plenty of new product launches, great-sounding rooms, and a good amount of traffic, especially on Saturday, when seats became a hot commodity in many exhibit rooms.www.stereophile.com
