Also the Weiss is made in Switzerland, so factor in 20x labour costs and 3x part costs.
Dropping shade at the door is Weiss is just stupid, they're a studio gear manufacturer who dabbles in retail side gear and has over the made some of the world's best measuring dacs- without having to resort to maximum output levels no one can realistically use to achieve that goal.

Toronto Audiofest 2022: Final Words and Observations
The Toronto Audiofest 2022 may not have been the busiest audio show I've attended, but it was still a success. It had plenty of new product launches, great-sounding rooms, and a good amount of traffic, especially on Saturday, when seats became a hot commodity in many exhibit rooms.
