For cinema and spotify connect I use android box, that connected to SMSL Sk10th DAC via USB, that connected to active pair JBL LSR 306P mkII via RCA.
Question is what properly way to control volume level? Now i set monitors to 50%, android to 100% and change volume only on dac. This is not comfortable because I have to perfectly point with remote and I don't see blue small digits on dac from 3 meters. Also it is not intuitive for my wife to use it because it's measured from -40db to 0db, not 0-100%.
Can i set monitors to 20%, dac to 100% (0db), and use software volume level on my android? Or software volume level must be always 100% for low noise etc?
