Sennheiser hd 800s Dac/Amp recommendation Need your help :)

I have used the HD800S with RME, different Topping DAC/Amp combos (entry level and up). All with very good results. Choose one that has features/connections you need.

For everything portable I use qudelix 5k. Mainly for IEMs.

I'd say start testing how you find EQ'ing your headphones using the Oratory EQ's that were linked to you by @zonk above. I'll include the master listing of his EQ's that cover all of the headphones he's measured too:

So start seeing how you got on with EQ using something like your PC if I'm assuming you're using that, and then if you think it's good then think about getting a portable DAC/amp that can include EQ like the Quidelix 5K - as there's no point spending money on that if you find you don't like to EQ your headphones. I mean theoretically you should like it way better with successful EQ, but I reckon just try the EQ first and go from there.
I'll link you his previous version of the HD800s EQ as he recently changed the EQ's for both HD800s & HD800 and I think the the latest EQ is pretty poor sounding for the HD800 vs his previous EQ he did for it. So find attached his previous version EQ of HD800s, and of course latest version can be found at the links you've been shown already.
