hello Aldo , did you also manage to test de d50s with the headphone amplifier a50s?

Do you also test E30 , i don't know what to do , i had tested on my edifier system and i don't really like the sound ( of course is connected coaxial)

right now i thing to return the dac and change it with E30 and L30 topping (but still not Shure what to do) .. do anybody test them E30 L30 and D50s +A50s stack?

D50S or E30 are transparent DACs at least as tested here...no difference at ear...one has 2 DACs ;-)

Hi @P0pik, also E30 has this click when goes to standby, at least.
I don't have A50s, so I cannot say anything about it.

The click is 100% normal operation behavior.

I even posted pics of the entire D50S PCB here, a lot moons ago.

Got reply from Thesycon.

They confirmed me, they release at least 2x updates per year and they are indeed passed to manufactures (in their agreement of course).

Unfortunately, they cannot force them to update to lastest version, but they should. As there are way too many DACs out there now, and due to this, they are unable to release a more "universal" one.

My D50s had given up. USB unrecognised and L R Error on screen.

Reached out to the Topping factory shop on Taobao where I get all my products from them and sometimes replacement parts if needed. They responded instantly and gave green light to send it back. From the moment they received it it took 3 days and they shipped it back to me completely fixed within warranty.

It's back on my desk and testing new V5.0 drivers now.

Great service from Topping as always. Perks of being in China near them also I guess.

I thought all the D50s were 1.03 and only the D50 has earlier versions of the FW.

Thanks bud. Then s what I found so far.

Anyway it's working like a charm again. Very good and neutral pairing with the A50s for my range headphones. Nice and neutral. The Soncoz is (ever so) slightly more hot and perfect for my monitors.

Can't be happier right now with the setup.

The tape is attached to the existing rubber feet.

The tape I bought is a cheap knock-off of the expensive stuff e.g. 3M VHB 4910F Clear Double Sided Tape | 25mm x 1m Roll: Amazon.co.uk: Office Products

Sure there are many ways to do it. I used velcro before, which worked like a charm too. I like the band. Got a black one too with finer threading. If I get sick of the red I'll swap the black one on.
