Don’t see this discussed much on the forum, but here goes.
I want to upgrade my music listening experience while commuting, at the gym etc. Currently, I just use a cheap smart phone and cheap in-ear headphones. I listen exclusively to Tidal.
So, I’m looking for a new smart phone with good sound quality and noise cancelling in-ear headphones.
I’ve almost decided on the LG G7 as it got a good review here, but it has now been replaced by the LG G8. If sound quality hasn’t been improved in the new model, I could probably get the G7 quite cheaply, and put more money towards headphones.
The obvious question is how much I want to spend on headphones. However, I’ve never used quality headphones. So I need some guidance on the price where good sound quality starts, and any improvement per £ diminishes.
Any advice appreciated.
