hello, it just depends on what you are looking for about versatility.
E30 is barebone DAC, D10s also works as usb bridge.
About sound, difficult to listen to any difference imho.

The D10s is USB in only, with analogue and SPDIF out.

The E30 has has USB and SPDIF in, with only analogue out.
