power supply for class D amp

Hello, would like to know if when shutting off amp power supply (seperate) always on should it be unplugged also thanks

It's not necessary, but probably good from a power conservation standpoint. I like to use a power strip for this purpose so I can shut off the source, then amp, then the power brick, if I will not be using them for a while. Not necessary to turn off constantly if you are going to play music at different times in the day, etc.

All home appliances with a remote control have a small power supply always on. Integrated amps etc. It would probably not be of any concern apart from how much you are into saving power.
