With the latest FW update and HEOS app update, all HEOS-based devices are now Roon Ready (2-channel, 44.1kHz/48kHz only for now). Support for Tidal Connect and Deezer HIFI were also added.
Multichannel Roon and Dolby Atmos on Tidal are also planed for HEOS but it's unclear if the current AVR/AVP lines will get such support. The next line will do right out of the box.
My new X4800H is still inside its box since it arrived for the second time after the first one was faulty. I will set it up and test to see if it's recognized as a Roon certified device.
