Neutrik NF2C/2B Pro RCA (Cinch) cable connector too big - should I bend it?

Great forum!

I had a RCA cable assembled, it came with Neutrik NF2C professional cable connectors. To my great surprise, it is too big - the cinch connection just is not tight enough for the cable to be durably attached to the source and to the amp. Any cheap cable at a fraction of the price sits absolutely tight. Should I carefully bend the connector? If so, which direction?

Any advice greatly appreciated by a confused newbie?

Did you push it hard enough? The shields are spring loaded, so the shield makes contact 1st. Takes a bit of force.

Thank you for your kind assistance. Video attached. Little more force does not yield a difference, have not tried brute force yet.

Yes,is not going in.
Try force, not brute but gradually it will come in.

Thank you both again for your great advice - with more force, the connection is now fitting tightly. Very helpful indeed, your help is greatly appreciated.
