KEF fixed the problem of the unit falling asleep and not re-awakening.

When? In my case, with a KEF verified "fixed" serial #, they did not fix it. It won't be fixed until they add a 12v trigger and/or off-auto-on switch. I returned mine.

I am not certain when. I tried one when it first came out with my NAD M33 and it kept falling asleep and wouldn’t wake so I did not get one at the time. I bought one in January of this year, but called KEF first who told me they had fixed the issue with a modification. I checked the serial # with them before purchasing to make sure it had the fix. I have not had any problems. Perhaps you could check again with KEF and send it back for service.
