Issue with Topping D10 and Hi-Res from iPhone

Hi everyone,

I have connected my iPhone to a Topping D10 DAC, but it looks like music is not played in Hi-Res. The Topping display shows constantly 44.1 PCM.

My chain is:

Iphone 11 > USB camera adapter with powered port > Topping D10 > Integrated amplifier.

In the iPhone Music setup, Audio Quality is set to Hi-Res Lossless for Wi-Fi streaming.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help.

Welcome!

Not an iPhone guy, but my first question is are you sure you are starting with hi-res files?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Since the D10 looks powered on, I just assumed that the power was enough.
I’m using a Lightning to USB3 camera adapter, power is supplied by a 5W USB adapter.
Would it help to have 12W?

It also happened to my iphone SE 2022 (USB lightning) but different problem. DAC is disconnected after a few hours usage. It doesn’t happen on my iPad Pro 4th gen (USB C).
