Is room treatment significant if i only listen at low volumes?

At higher volumes it's easier to hear "details and defects". At very-low volumes it's hard to judge sound quality... And because of the Fletcher-Munson curves, you hear less bass at low volumes, if you hear it at all, so bass is less critical. If you go low enough you won't hear anything!
