He uses Lupisoft EKIO software, and the OktoResearch DAC (eight channel version)

In my audio dedicated silent PCs, I always disable all of the Window's audio functionalities, and I stick to use full ASIO audio I/O. We discussed these on the thread of DAC8PRO around here.

Just for your reference, my posts here and here illustrate the full ASIO audio I/O in Windows 10 using ASIO4ALL and the DIYINHK USB ASIO driver for DAC8PRO.
