Hi guys
I just bough a small dayton 408 to try my hand at active filter for some loudspeaker im building (with small class D amp)
Im having trouble to find a way to feed the dsp with analog preamped signal.

im currently using a cheap avr (onkyo tx-nr555). I did open it to poke around if I could find some preamp signal but no luck
im using a firestick as source for movie.
So any easy (read cheap) way to extract 5 channels from the HDMI signal?

thanks guys

as a bonus a way to control the volumes :D

Easy is a Vanity Pro. You did not say cheap.

There are inexpensive HDMI Audio extractors that can convert HDMI to RCA:

Though be aware that some of these will only work inserted between your fire stick and the AVR, while others can be plugged into your AVR's HDMI Out (ARC) port.

Btw, doesn't the Dayton 408 only have four input channels? I guess you'd have to choose one channel that won't be DSPed.
