Help connecting Blu Ray to Wiim Amp

Your Sony BDP6700 also has a Coax Output. Just plug that into your WiiM Amp, and make sure the WiiM Input is set to Coax when you want to listen to a CD. What is all this HDMI to Splitter to Optical ??

I don't think the Wiim Amp has a coax input. One of the drawbacks with it.

Perhaps this will help
It is a coax to optical or vice-versa
I've used a device very much like that. Probably the easiest solution, does not appear to degrade the sound.

The Wiim Amp and Wiim Ultra should have included a coax input. I already have things using an optical input.
Should of, yeah, but this happens. Bought one for a DAT recorder, you would think pro gear would include all options, but they don't always. Really like my Topping E30 on account of it having optical and coax along with a USB in, but really could have used an HDMI in for that. Fortunately my Sony Blu-Ray (which I only use for music) has both coax and optical out.

And so it goes.
