Do you have balanced connectors on them both? And what are you currently using to drive them?

Have a Pass Labs HPA-1. Both heaphones have Forza AudioWorks Noir Hybrid HPC cabling - Furutech 4 pin XLR
Pass cannot drive either properly, maybe Benchmark HPA 4

If you're in the US I'd look no further than the Drop thx 789. Even better if it goes on sale in January.

The hpa 4 is silly money and quite possibly overkill.

RME ADI-2 dac fs. Sounds great and there’s parametric eq. You need EQ with HD800.
