Tom Norton was always one of my favored audio writers over the years.
Looks like he didn't write this list.
On that note, the best life advice I ever read was in a woodworking magazine. A reader wrote to say that he has been a hobbyist woodworker for years and now wants to get into the business. The magazine editor wrote back:
"The best way to ruin a great hobby is to turn it into a business!"
Can't tell you how often I run into audiophiles who lust after getting into audio business. Making audio equipment has nothing to do with listening and enjoying one.
