Without O2 yet, on Yulong. Yulong happened to die yesterday - no sound at all, after staying for about 9 hours switched on but not in operation. I was understandably shocked but after reload Windows was kind enough to correct a "pair of mistakes" and u know what ... Yulong started producing much louder sound! But I WILL take O2 anyway to get all the juice possible! But they are sending shivers up my spine already, Yulong and Fostex! :D:D:D:D:D
But is it proper for me to post their my favourite compositions? And will you, folks, listen to them? I would like to post, among others, some , more or less retro, Soviet Russian songs performed by the USSR most talented voices ...
Plenty post links to YouTube like you did. Not my cup of tea but someone might listen

If u and the forum rules allow that is what I'm listening now with an overwhelming delight:
It is in fact Aznavour's concert in Olimpia concert hall in Paris in 2004 ... I don't know French but this music and this voice take my soul away, somewhere to the heavens! :D

ThanX a lot! I will listen to it later and with pleasure, I just cannot make myself stop the Aznavour's concert now!
This very record is exemplary, to my mind, even though it is Youtube ...

Sounds that much like 'snake oil' that I'd have expected a few hundred Euros - but apparently it's only 11 Euros (if my research is correct). Forget about the descriptions, but it, nevertheless, may be alright. I'd choose the cable length as short as possible, long RCAs which aren't well shielded may induce audible noise (but, OK. let's talk about around 10m), bad plugs, btw., easily get loose. I have one Cordial Headphone cable which is very good, don't know if you can get them in Russia (Thomann).
Enjoy!

What's that roughly in euro /us Dollar? Don't spend any real money on cables

With delivery, it means for me around 16$ or 15 Euros ... But is it worth it? Is not it a somewhat rebranded 2-nd rate Chinese trash?

Well, most stuff will be from that neck of the woods so wouldnt worry about the origin. Cant you find one with good reviews in terms of build quality? Sound quality shouldt be an issue unless it's broken

Алаверды to u! Алаверды is pronounced somehow as "alaverdi" and means toast in return forming a sort of "a dialogue in toasts", a traditional custom at the fabulous Caucasian feasts:
Do not forget that Aznavour's parents were right from Caucasus. The text is by Aznavour and the music is by Becaud.

Objective 2 (O2) provides only 32 Oms @613 mW, - how can u be sure it would be enough?! I need a practical proof of that as it is really important for me: if it is true, I can get a used O2 for 60$ instead of approximately 140$ for a new Atom! :)

Perhaps, I'm not clear enough in my mind, as the 9-th of May is our Russian Sacred Victory Day and I've toasted to it ... numerously, but I'd like a more precise conclusion on JDS Atom operation. :D

According to this calculator, your headphones should reach 115dBSPL at 200 milliwatts.

That's really loud.

it means no audible self noise (quiet between songs) but audiophools tend to mean other perceived aspects with it as well. Ignore them.

Interesting, didn't know. I was born just a few kilometers from the French border, and grew up there. J'aime beaucoup les chansonniers français.

I see, thanX! ))) I've passed for the details to Reddit and here there is a phrase: "... The O2 is a very clean sounding amp with a “black background.” What does this black background mean particlarly?

It’s likely meaningless subjective audiophile jargon. It might refer to a lack of background noise or hiss.

Hmm ... But why does a lack of background noise or hiss is called BLACK background, I wonder?! I, frankly, would refer "black" to some sort of bass presentation ... )))

Thank u very much for your cooperation! And how really interesting! It happens so that my expert advicer has strongly disapproved my choice of Cordial as he calls their cables "the killers of the plugs" meaning they are TOO tight ... I presume KLOTZ AY7-0100 1.0m will be my ultimate choice!
