CES 2017: Naim and Focal

First room I hit today was the Focal. They had setup a lower end room than in the past.

The knob on this won some kind of Youtube award. It was very beautiful with great feel:

Shame they are doing their own app rather than using Roon.

The slider at the bottom is the volume control, not progress bar. I found that it had a lot of latency making impossible to set the volume correctly. They do have a hardwired remote to fix that. Shame as this would have been one advantage over Roon.

Low bass rather tubby. This was a characteristic I found in all the Focals I heard today. It seems that they have some kind of boosted mid-bass. Midrange on up was fine.
