I would like to find out how to hook up my REL T7 sub to my Buckeye NC252 2 channel amp. REL shows a diagram but my amp does not have a ground hookup that I can find for the black wire.
Any ideas on the best way to do this?
Thanks

Don't use the ground hookup with class d amps. Just use the left and right positive and you should be good to go. You can confirm this with REL which is what they will recommend.

Thanks, I see where this is the recommended setup.

Dylan from Buckeye amps says to connect it to the source (which is the Wiim Ultra) but the REL connection is 3 bare wires, the Ultra has no connectors for this.
Now I am not sure which is the right procedure.

You should be able to connect the sub RCA output of the Wiim Ultra to the LFE RCA input of the REL T7.
The LFE input bypasses the low pass filter in the REL T7, which is not necessary as the Wiim sub output is already low pass filtered.

Which wires are you referring to on the sub?

REL supplies their subwoofers with a 3-wire cable to connect their subs to the speaker level output of the amp. That's the "REL way" of connecting subs, which is contrary to the commonly considered best practice. With the "REL way", you cannot high pass the mains since the subwoofer input signals are also the input to the main speakers (which means if you filter out the LF to the mains, you will be left with no LF signals for the sub).

From the current version T/7x manual: https://rel.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/REL_Tx_Manual_NON_STB_05-24-24-3.pdf

Rel can be so annoying with their goofy setup advice.

Ahhh I see now.
Definitely not how I would connect a sub.
