Auro 3D 7.1.4 support on Denon x3800h?

as the title says: does the denon x3800h support a 7.1.4 auro 3d set up where you have ear level surrounds and rears?

couldnt find an answer googling.

any answer is appreciated!

I get that you can also use rear heights instead of surround heights but in everything I have found they are talking about a 5.1 base layer and not a 7.1 base layer.

I wonder if the “can’t” answer is because the 3800 comes with 9 internal amps but pre-outs for 11 channels? You would have to add an external 2 channel amp to support the additional 2 channels to have a 7.2.4 instead of the 5.2.4 with just 9 internal amps.

Might be it’s a bit confusing.

Here it says you can.

Although it doesent specify that you can use rear or surround heights
