Audio Pro Addon T14 quasi-anechoic measurements

Here are some measurements of the Audio Pro Addon T14 active speaker.

The only "review" I could find was this one (What Hi-fi :rolleyes:):

Equipment/settings used:
Calibrated UMIK-2
REW v5.30.5 (mac)
48 kHz 24-bit sweep (256k, 5.5s, 0-20000Hz)
TOSLINK connection from playback PC to speaker

I started by measuring the response using different treble and bass settings (on the remote control). I ended up using bass level 6 and tweeter level 7 (It's impossible to get an even response, but at least it's ok up to 11 kHz using this setting).

Distortion ( I didn't measure at higher SPL because the cabinet was already starting to make audible noises (It sounded like a cable or something rattling inside).

I used the "limit normalisation to 30 dB below peak" setting in REW.

I also measured the speaker using a modified REW sweep (EQed in Adobe Audition using these settings):

Consider normalizing your directivity measurements to the on-axis response. Makes them way easier to read :)

This can be done using REW's trace arithmetic feature (A/B)

Yup, that looks about right.

You can use the camera symbol in the top left corner of the graph to export a PNG.

In any case, I would include the legend in the capture so that viewers can see which line corresponds with which angle.

I'd also apply some smoothing to get rid of the "jitters". You can experiment with different levels of smoothing to find a sweet spot between having smooth lines and still keeping some detail.

In theory, normalizing to on-axis should get rid of a lot of the comb-like response, but looking at your graph, that does not seem the be the case here.
