Just come across this product. We already know companies make ethernet cables "designed for audio", but this one takes the cherry on the top for worst design ever.
Ethernet REGARDLESS of use, NEEDS to be twisted in order to work in the first place. I should know, I.T is my profession. However, apparently, having the eight wires laid out flat next to each other is best?!

Pretty stupid. I don't see a "CAT" rating.

This seems like the outcome of a fruitful brainstorming session, where the prompt was "How can we make audiophile ethernet cable even stupider?" It's honestly a fresh and creative level of stupidity, here.

This looks to be a weird type of twinaxial cable...? Completely pointless for audio streaming and most other use cases where Cat cables are more than adequate.

I would expect idiocy like this from Wireworld though.

edit: Checking further, it's two silver-plated copper conductors in a twinaxial configuration, surrounded by a multi-layer shield instead of using twisted pairs.

Nope, even cat3 is twisted lol! Technically speaking, the cable I’ve mentioned isn’t a data cable at all!

Back in the early 90s used a lot of 8 parallel conductor untwisted unshielded cable between Telco frames and tty servers. Worked great at 9600 baud but you were screwed if someone used it as a network cable. It would literally take down an entire subnet because the first switch was the gateway everything below that was a hub.

Reminds me of the flat blue Cisco RS-232 console adapter cable with DB-9 on one end and RJ-45 on the other. But it's obviously not an Ethernet cable.
