Considering how widespread the use of these headphones is, I'm surprised Amir hasn't evaluated them. I'd be curios to see what Amir makes of them and what EQ he recommends using Muse. I use his EQ for the Tanchjim One in-ear USBC headphones I own. I think they sound much more rounded using his EQ.

I've tried EQing the AirpodPros myself, just my ear. Not exactly precise.

Anyone else curious about this? Should I send a pair to him?

Only if you have a flashlight....

Thanks for this....

Q:
The Roon Muse app is not listed as a DSP application. Do you recommend a setting to use..

I was gifted a pair of these and love them, haven't felt the need to EQ. Might be a little bass-heavy but I enjoy that. Curious, what do you find to be off?

Should be no problem to use it.

You can use either the convolution option, or just take one of the PEQ options and copy over the values.

I'll do exactly that....

I bought a pair for work. Needed the wireless capability for meetings. Very impressed by the sound and the spacial aspect. I use them for watching movies if my wife goes to sleep. You get a very convincing, though fake surround effect.

Isn't the spatial effect only available for iPhone users?

I'm curious about it, but I'm not buying an iPhone just to play with head tracking and virtual surround.

Yes, it works well with iPhone, but also with Apple TV, there the spacial also works well.

The spatial effect is with any iOS or MacOS device using the AirPods Pro or AirPods Pro max, running Apple Music, Apple Music Classical or Apple TV. I have found it wonderful with some content, and weird and distracting with some content.

I believe Amazon Prime has its own surround scheme which does not utilize the standard Apple Spatial Audio processing or Dolby Atmos, and AirPods Pro also support this alternative form of surround.

Most other iOS apps support Apple Spatial Audio.
